Welcome to Peel Family Early Years Programs and Services

Peel is working together to strengthen and build a supportive caring environment for the future of our children, families and community.

Family Early Years Programs and Services support the research findings that:

  • The first 6 years are vital years in a child's life
  • The brain forms connections that set the stage for lifelong learning, behaviour, and health
  • By 6 years of age children have a solid foundation for reaching their full potential in the years ahead

We believe that children's learning happens when parents promote language, literacy, numeracy, and problem solving by interacting with their children. Family Early Years Programs and Services support parents and caregivers in this role.
